WOMEN: WORK, STRESS AND HEALTH – DESENZANO (IT), 28 FEB 2015

Indicators used to evaluate work related stress conditions show a greater impact on working women, quite often forcibly multitasking: mother-daughter-partner-professional: a problem often overlooked, which can have significant consequences in the workplace and in woman’s social sphere, psychological and physical health.

The course aims to analyze the main diseases resulting from stress conditions which working women are subjected to, starting from theoretical concepts and then engaging participants in an interactive work to identify solutions and practices for prevention and treatment.

The first part of the course will deal with the problems related to menopause, rheumatic pains and chronic cardiovascular risks and risks of addiction to alcohol or drugs.

The second part of the course will deal with extensive psychological aspects and tools for a correct approach to pain management, and how to control and manage work-related stress, also by means of self care abilities.

The Seninar is part of the EU-OSHA Campaign “Healthy Workplaces Manage Stress“.
